Jack Swanson leads Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U to 9-3 victory against Edge Brook Thunder 1

An impressive two-way performance from Jack Swanson led Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U to a 9-3 win Thursday over Edge Brook Thunder, as Jack came up huge at the dish and on the mound.

Jack went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning. 

Edge Brook Thunder's lineup had no answer for Jack. Edge Brook Thunder managed just one hit off of S, who allowed one earned run, walked 2 and struck out 4 during his 2 innings of work. 

Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U blew out Edge Brook Thunder thanks to nine hits, including three extra base hits. Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U scored three runs in the sixth on a two-run single by Danny Villa and an RBI single by Devin Rosa
