Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U jumps on Highland Park White early and coasts to 17-6 win

Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U jumped out to an early lead on Highland Park White and captured a 17-6 victory on Sunday at Diamond four . 

Nine runs in the first three innings allowed Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U to put the game away early. 

An RBI triple by Gabe Hernandez and an RBI triple by Frankie Gapinski in the first inning and a hit by pitch, a home run by Gabe, and an RBI triple by Gil Hernandez during the second inning fueled Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U's offense early. 

Gabe racked up six RBIs on three hits for Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U.
Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U hammered Highland Park White pitching as eight hitters had a field day, combining for 12 hits, 14 RBIs and 13 runs scored.

Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U increased its lead with three runs in the fourth. Cyrus Mehmedi singled, plating Jayden Parikah to start the inning. That was followed up by Alyza Hernandez's single, scoring Gil.
