Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U beats Edge Brook Thunder two 7-4 April 22nd

 

Gil H drove in three runs, helping Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U to a 7-4 victory over Edge Brook Thunder 2 on Monday at Horner Park Diamond 5.

Gil homered in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning.


The top of the third saw Edge Brook Thunder 2 take an early lead, 1-0. 

After posting one run in the fourth, Edge Brook Thunder 2 again scored Two in the fifth. In the fourth, Edge Brook Thunder two scored on a solo home run by #31. 

Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U never surrendered the lead after the fourth inning, scoring four runs on an RBI double by Danny V, a two-run home run by Gil, and an RBI single by Jayden P. 

Horner Park Highlanders Blue 9U answered Edge Brook Thunder's  top inning with three runs of its own in the fifth.
